June: 8 fruits for your health!

Happy first June to everyone.

We want to welcome this month with 8 seasonal colourful healthy fruits! Here they are: Apricot, Peach, Strawberry, Cherry, Watermelon, Melon, Raspberries, Plums.

We start off with: Apricot!


Apricots are one of the healthiest fruit available this season and are even considered a superfood due to their high nutrient profile.The origin of the apricot is disputed. It was known in Armenia during ancient times, and has been cultivated there for so long that it is often thought to have originated there. Other sources say that the apricot was first cultivated in India and China in about 3000 BC.

This fruit is so versatile that you can eat it fresh, dry or as jam.

Apricots are rich in nutritional content. It is closely related to peach and plum in the way it tastes.
